Low-grade ferronickel 1.6-1.8 was quoted at 1650-1670 yuan/t, up 20 yuan/t compared to last week; middle-grade ferronickel 4-6 was quoted at 710-720 yuan/nickel, up 10 yuan/nickel; middle-grade ferronickel 6-8 was quoted at 690-700 yuan/nickel, up 10 yuan/nickel; high-grade ferronickel 10-12 was quoted at 705-715 yuan/nickel, up 15 yuan/nickel.

In domestic market, a steel maker in Jiangsu Province started to inquiry for high-garde ferronickel products with a price of about 710 yuan/nickel, 5 yuan more per ton compared to last round. Also, some factories in Shandong Province have met an agreement with a north steel buyer. Additionally, Taiwan’s stainless steel making factories in Fujian province turned back to the market and asked for the ferronickel products with a bidding price of 700-705 yuan/nickel.
