On February 24, Thompson Creek Metals Company inc., a resource company in the U.S. released its official production and sales volumes of molybdenum in the full year 2015 (January - December) and in the period from October to December. Albeit the Company owns 2 mines of Thompson Creek mine and Endako mine as a molybdenum mine, both mines are now not in operation and the production volume throughout the year 2015 was zero. For a reference, the production result in the prior year was 26.256 million lbs). Meanwhile, the sales volume was 12.128 million lbs, drastically down by 66.8% from the prior year, and the average sales price per lb was US$8.55, drastically down from US$12.06 in the prior year.
