The price rise is mainly supported by the materials cost and the production capacity utilization.

The prices of the calcium products are expected to raise in the long term. Concerning the sales volume, domestic sales are almost the same with the export sales.

Shadowed by the Ferro alloy recession and the over production capacity cuts policy, many producers choose to stop the production of calcium wires and calcium tablets.

According to the source from Anyang Guangshun Steel Co.,Ltd, “Once we produce calcium wires and tablets, but because of the limitation of marketing channels, we ceased the production. We still keep the production of calcium blocks, and the price of calcium blocks are raising.”

Anyang Fengwang Metallurgy Refractories Co.,Ltd mainly produce metal calcium. Currently, the monthly production stands at 1,000mt. Now the price of calcium tablets (Ca99%) stands at 27,600mt. Interrupted by the environmental assessment, the tenders are mainly from the regular costumers.
