[www.ferro-alloys.com] Korea Posco announced the financial reported in the first-quarter, the company’s production and sales volumes continued to decrease, but sales amount decreased which led Posco’s business performance has improved.
Posco's crude steel production was 9.064 million tons in the first quarter this year, down by 1.3% year on year; those for steel product production was 8.77 million tons. Especially, 8.304 million tons of carbon steel, stainless steel was 466,000 tons. 
As the market improved, Posco continues to expand WP products with high added value and expects business continues to rebound.
