[Ferro-Alloys.com] It is reported that the price of FeTi cored wire has continued rise. The ex-work price of FeTi cored wire（Ti70%）produced by Jinzhou Hengtai Special Alloy Co.,Ltd stands at RMB27,000/mt, and that of Anyang Tiefa Yejin Naicai Co.,Ltd stands at RMB29,000/mt.

Demand for FeTi cored wire is increasing gradually. Nanjing Iron&Steel Group Corp. will purchase 30 tons of FeTi cored wires, the tendering purchasing of FeTi cored wire by Shandong Iron&Steel Group Company Limited at the end of April was 360 tons. Jinzhou Hengtai Special Alloy Co.,Ltd is devoted to producing the high-end FeTi cored wire（Ti70%, monthly production is 300 tons that are mainly supplied to the steel mills in north China.

It is learned that Ti is the important basis material for the strategic emerging industries including aerospace, new energy, energy-saving and environmental protection and advanced equipment manufacturing. Ti industry has been listed as the focus of the development of the country's future strategic emerging industries, according to the "13th Five-Year" planning (outline). High-end Ti material has been promoted as new material because of its excellent performance. It will be used widely in medical apparatus and instruments, numerical control machine, robot and 3D printing.

High strength and thermo stability are the most outstanding merits of Ti alloy. It is hard to find its alternative, so Ti alloy is widely used in aerospace industry which is demanding for the material performance character.
