[Ferro-Alloys.com] Today, we are informed from 30 cored wire producers in Henan province that now it is the season of darkness for cored wires. For Chinese companies, the high tariff of export aggravates the situation, decreasing the export volume, so the overseas market demand has to look toward other countries.

Since April, affected by the environmental assessment, the production of cored wires and other related alloys has been declined in Anyang Henan province. Many factories stopped production for a moment, when the production will recover still needs time. Some companies start producing other profitable ferroalloys.

According to the insiders, currently the nodulizer market share has enlarged and its price keeps stable; the price of CaSi cored wire (Ca30Si60) stands at RMB9, 000/mt, but compared with pure Ca cored wires, the production of CaSi cored wires has decreased sharply.
