[www.ferro-alloys.com] According to General Administration of Customs, Chinese steel exports increased to 10.94 million tons, up 16% monht on month, and up 3% year-on-year, which was the highest level in June since September 2015.
Those exports in June were mainly from orders booked in April and it was the first time this year that exports exceeded 10 million tons.
The steel imports reached 1.14 million tons were the second-highest level this year, and were 5% higher than in May, but 3% less compared to the previous year.
