Global ship orders totaled 15.93 million CGT or 573 vessels during January-September this year, up 6.14 million CGT from a year ago.

By country, the figure was 5.09 million CGT or 217 vessels in China, 4.05 million CGT or 133 vessels in South Korea, and 1.47 million CGT or 76 vessels in Japan.
