akarta, February 13, 2018 - PT ANTAM Tbk (IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM; ANTAM) and the Directorate General of National Export Development of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia (Ditjen PEN Kemendag) are pleased to announce the partnership on the development of silver handicraft products. The synergy is marked through the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Acting Director General of National Export Development Bachrul Chairi and ANTAM’s President Director Arie Prabowo Ariotedjo. The Trade Minister of the Republic of Indonesia Enggartiasto Lukita alto witnessed the signing event.

ANTAM’s President Director, Arie Prabowo Ariotedjo said:

“The cooperation between ANTAM and the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia reflects ANTAM’s commitment in supporting the Government program to enhance the added value of national export commodities through ANTAM’s Corporate Social Responsibility program.”    

Under the MoU, ANTAM and Ditjen PEN Kemendag will corporate and synergize on design development of silver handicraft product, enhancing the skills of silver craftsmen and supporting the marketing and promotion activities through domestic & international trade exhibition, trade mission, purchase mission as well as business meetings.      

The MoU between ANTAM and Ditjen PEN Kemendag will lasts for 2 years. During the period ANTAM will support the silver craftsmen through the provision of marketing data and export market outlook which will be gathered from the Ministry of Trade under prevailing regulations and policies.
