Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickle (big board) at 101500RMB/T in Shanghai. The market supply was sufficient in the morning, and the trader quoted price positively. The downstream firms purchased goods according to their requirement. The trading was not as positive as people expect. The range of the price was between 101000RMB/T and 101800RMB/T.

Recently, the high grade ferronickle market has been more and more negative. The terminal require is being depressed.So the trading is not very well, and the profits of stainless steel plants are being less and less,even some plants are defective.They have to reduce production to control the cost,and the raw material purchase plan has been shelved. It lead the ferronickle requirement suffer the pressure. At present, the mainstream price of high grade ferronickle is between 990-1000RMB/nickle point. Because of the overhaul and environmental protection, the production capability of low grade ferronickle is at low level. The inventory is at low level,too. Some trader keep little goods to wait for the better turn.
