[ferro-alloys.com]  Crude steel, pig iron and steel produced from China were 212.15 million tons, 175 million tons and 246.93 million tons respectively from January to March of 2018, up 5.4%, down 1.2% and up 4.7% year on year respectively, data from National Bureau of Statistics showed. In March, output of crude steel, pig iron and steel in China was 73.98 million tons, 60,46 million tons and 89,77 million tons respectively, up 4.5%, down 1.1 % and up 4.2% year on year respectively. In march, the average daily output of crude steel, pig iron and steel was 2,386,500 tons, 1,950,300 tons and 2,895,800 tons respectively, increased by 2.91%, 1.55% and 7.43% respectively from the average daily output of January to February.

Coke produced from China from January to March was 102.85 million tons, down 3.2% year on year, according to statistics. In March, coke output was 35.57 million tons, down 4.7% year on year. From January to March, coal output was 804.54 million tons, up 3.9% year on year. In March, raw coal output was 290,22 million tons, increased by 1.3% year on year.
