[ferro-alloys.com]Yesterday, the US dollor index surpassed 91 which affected LME metal price trend. Then the LME nickle price rose up. In the end, the LME nickle was quoted at 14185USD/T. Today, compared to Wuxi 1805 contract, the premium of Russian nickle is 700-900RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickle is 1300-1400RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickle (big board) at 104000RMB/T. Due to the decline of tax rate, the traders were not positive in the market in the morning.

The LME nickle price went up and down. A large steel plant announced that they would delay the high grade ferronickle purchase plan in May. These factors influenced the stainless steel market. So, the price of ferronickle could not rise in the future. However, the demand of nickle would rise in 2018. It would made the price of ferronickle keep steady in a period. Today, the price of high grade ferronickle rose up to 980-990RMB/nickle.The price of low grade ferronickle maintained at 2900-3000RMB/T.
