NMDC to produce Iron Ore from its Chhattisgarh mines

As on 30 April 2018, NMDC Ltd notified in a regulatory filing that from its Chhattisgarh based mines they produced 1.57 MT (million tonnes) of iron ore. The official resources reported that by 2024-25, at least 10 MT of iron ore production per year target is set to be achieved from its mines in Chhattisgarh. They have informed that they have also pursued 7.116 hectares forest land alteration for its iron ore concentrate pipeline in Dantewada, the district of Bastar. They are also working to get Right of Use (ROU) or Right of Way (ROW) permission for the development of a land corridor for its Slurry Pipeline project to Nagarnar in Bastar region from Bailadila. The project will be executed in two phases as the process of putting a 15 MT per annum, whereas the first phase is being effected to Nagarnar in Bastar from Bacheli.
