[ferro-alloys.com]Yesterday, LME nickle price kept rising. By the end of trading, LME nickle was quoted at 14170USD/T. However, U.S. government announced that they would impose tariff to $200 billion Chinese commodity today. It shocked the future market in the morning. The price of future nickle declined largely in Shanghai Future Exchange. Compared to Wuxi 1807 contract, the premium of Russian nickle was 150RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickle was 750RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickle (big board) at 110100RMB/T. It was 2400RMB/T lower than the price yesterday. 

Today, Typhoon Maria landed in Fujian. It influenced the production of some stainless steel plants, such as: Tsingtuo and so on. Besides, it also affected the ocean transportation of stainless steel.There were only few stainless steel spot goods in the market, and the market was short of ferronickle spot goods. Both the supply and demand were insuffcient. The price of ferronickle kept steady. Today, the price of high grade ferronickle was 1080-1100RMB/Nickle, and the low grade ferronickle price was 3400-3450RMB/T.
