Announcement No. 62, 2018 of the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC, Announcement on Anti-dumping Investigation of Imported Stainless Steel Billet and Stainless Steel Hot Sheet/Coil Originating in the European Union, Japan, Korea and Indonesia

[Ferro-alloys.com] On June 22, 2018, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (the Ministry of Commerce) received an anti-dumping investigation formally submitted by Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. (the applicant) on behalf of Chinese domestic stainless steel billet and stainless steel hot-rolled sheet/ Coil industry. The applicant requested an anti-dumping investigation in the European Union, Japan, Korea and Indonesia. The Ministry of Commerce, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Anti-dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China", the qualifications of applicants, the relevant conditions for applying for investigation of products, the relevant situation of similar products in China, the impact of applying of products in China, and the application of countries (regions) investigated and so on were reviewed.

Filing investigation and period：Since the date of this announcement, the Ministry of Commerce has initiated anti-dumping investigations on imported stainless steel billets and stainless steel hot-rolled sheet/coil originating in the European Union, Japan, South Korea and Indonesia. The investigation period fromJanuary 2017 to 31st December 2017, the industrial damage investigation period from January 1, 2014 to  31^st March, 2018.
