The supply of ferronickel was still restricted in the market.The use ratio of steel scrap was high when smelting stainless steels. So, the ferronickel was not in great demand. Taiyuan Iron and Steel Co applied for anti-dumping investigation for stainless steel products made by Europe Union, South Koera, Japan and Indonesia. It encouraged the stainless steel market, and the price of high grade ferronickel rose up.The purchase price for high grade ferronickel by ZPSS was 1100RMB/Nickel. It was 20RMB/Nickel higher than the price last week. The Ni1.6-1.8% ferronickel mainstream price was between 3400RMB/T and 3500RMB/T. The Ni 8%-10% ferronickel price was 1080-1095RMB/nickel point.
