[ferro-alloys.com]China's largest privately owned steelmaker, Jiangsu Shagang Group, has raised domestic rebar and wire rod list prices for sales over August 11-20, a mill source said Saturday.

The price of Shagang's 16-25 mm diameter HRB 400 rebar was raised by Yuan 100/mt ($15/mt) to Yuan 4,450/mt, including 16% value added tax, the source said.

This marked the third consecutive uptick for the mill's rebar list price, taking the total increase to Yuan 300/mt.

Shagang also lifted wire rod prices by Yuan 100/mt for August 11-20 sales, putting HPB300 6.5 mm wire rod at Yuan 4,580/mt, including VAT, the source added.
