[ferro-alloys.com]Yesterday, U.S dollar price rose up a little. Relatively, LME nickel price dropped down. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 12795 USD/T.A large amount of Russian nickel flew into the domestic market, but the demand increased a little. The supply exceeded demand. The future nickel price went on declining in Shanghai Future Exchange. Compared to Wuxi 1809 contract, the premium of Russian nickel was 100 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 4500 RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 109000 RMB/T. It was the same as the price yesterday.

At present, stainless steel market kept steady. The stainless steel was not in great demand. Besides, influenced by declining of nickel price, high grade nickel price was still in lower level. Today, the price of high grade ferronickel remained at 1070-1090 RMB/Nickel. Affected by environmental protection inspection and rising of coke price, low grade ferronickel price was still in higher level. It was quoted at 3550-3650 RMB/T today.
