After the message announced, U.S dollar kept on rising this week. Relatively, LME nickel price went on dropping. Yesterday, LME nickel was quoted at 12295 USD/T, and its inventory was 219924 tons. Although LME nickel price kept on dropping this week, the report from relative international agency showed that there existed short supply in global nickel market. It was good for nickel market. So, the electrolytic nickel price went up on Monday and Friday. But for the rest of this week, the electrolytic nickel price dropped down. In the morning, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel (big board) at 108700 RMB/T. It was 300 RMB/T higher than the price yesterday. The barrelled small piece electrolytic nickel was quoted at 111700 RMB/T. The price of Jinchuan nickel was 108450-108700 RMB/T, and Russian nickel was quoted at 102550-102800 RMB/T. In general, electrolytic nickel price went down compared to the price on last week.
