In the first 3 quarters, the profit in steel industry increased by 71.1%, Until October 30^th, 26 listed steel enterprises has published their performance report in 3^rd quarter. In the first three quarters, 24 enterprises got profits, other 2 enterprises were unprofitable. 75% of these enterprises earned more than 50% profit. The earning rate of special steel manufactures is less than normal steel plants. The earning rate of cold rolling manufactures is less than hot rolling manufactures. The earning rate of hot rolling plants is less than construction material plants.
