More importing less steel in the past 10 months done by Vietnam

 

Vietnam spent over 8.3 billion U.S. dollars bringing in about 11.4 million tons of steel and iron in the initial 10 months of this current year, down 10.5 percent in volume however up 10.6 percent in incentive against a similar period a year ago, the Vietnam Steel Association said on Tuesday.

In the meantime, Vietnam imported about 1.9 million tons of other regular metals, for example, aluminum, copper and zinc worth more than 6.2 billion U.S. dollars, seeing individual year-on-year floods of 31.7 percent and 29.9 percent.

Vietnam spent more than 9 billion U.S. dollars bringing in approximately 15 million tons of steel and iron a year ago, with China being the greatest import showcase with almost 7 million tons of the items totaling 4.1 billion U.S. dollars, trailed by Japan and South Korea, as per the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
