[ferro-alloys.com]Indonesian Vale revealed their processes of Pomalaa project and Bahodopi Project in Southeast Sulawesi.

At present, it is certain that Vale will cooperate with Japanese Sumitomo Metal to develop nickelous hydroxide for electric vehicle battery by HPAL technology. Now, the company has had land usage right. The project is in bank class feasibility study stage 

Vale is searching partner for Bahodopi Project. Now, Jinchuan, Baowu, and Zhejiang Huayou have participated in the project. They will submit their advance research report by the end of the year.

There are three main requirements for partner: reliable technology, environmental friendly safety measure, high efficiency.

Besides, Indonesian Vale is also planning to update the capacity of Sorowako Project so that the capacity of high grade nickel will increase from 77 thousand tons to 90 thousand tons per year.
