The growth rate of Chinese Economy in 4^th quarter was in the lowest level since 1990. The traders were not very positive in the market. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 11810 USD/T. It was the same as the price on last Friday.In the morning, the domestic nickel price kept steady. Compared with Wuxi 1902 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was 50 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 600-800 RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 95200 RMB/T. It was 300 RMB/T lower than the price yesterday.

The Spring Festival is coming soon. The stainless steel market kept steady, so did the ferronickel market. Several ferronickel plant in Indonesia had been put into production, and some producted had been resold to domestic traders. The price of ferronickel might dropped down. At present, the ferronickel was stable, the high grade ferronickel price was 950-965 RMB/Nickel, and the low grade ferronickel was 3350-3500 RMB/T.
