China Ferroalloy Industry Association's Silicon Professional Committee held its first Ferrosilicon Manufacturing Enterprise Exchange in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on April 8, 2019. The participating units are Erdos Electro-metallurgical Group, Standing Vice-President of China Ferroalloy Industry Association, Tengda West Rail Group, Director of Silicon Professional Committee, Junzheng, Sanyuan Zhongtai, Zhongwei Maoye, Xinhua, Zhongwei Galaxy, Fugu Tongju, Sanjiang Energy, Yuanda Group, Taida Group, Tianzhu Chuangyi and Xingshun of Ningxia. Source and other dozens of ferrosilicon manufacturers.

The purpose of this meeting is to strengthen the communication of technical information, industry trends and industrial policies among ferroalloy manufacturers, and to promote the healthy development of the industry.

After discussion, the meeting held the first exchange meeting in 2019 for ferrosilicon production enterprises to raise awareness, understand and grasp the national macro policy and industry dynamics is of great significance, the meeting is very necessary and timely.

Representatives of participating enterprises agreed that only by constantly improving their own quality and operational ability, actively facing the two markets, fully utilizing the active industrial policy, refining Market segments, and promoting product differentiation strategy, can ferrosilicon enterprises continuously strengthen their core competitiveness and create more value for enterprises.

At the meeting, each enterprise briefed its production and operation situation separately. It was agreed that, on the premise that the capacity of silicon system can fully meet the needs of users, each enterprise should strengthen equipment maintenance and technological innovation to minimize energy consumption and reduce production costs, especially to strengthen safety management and ensure the safe and stable operation of the industry. At the same time, the enterprises introduced the recent equipment and spring inspection, in order to rationally arrange peak avoidance and furnace shutdown maintenance. According to statistics, there are more than 40 submerged arc furnaces planned to be repaired in the whole industry.
