[Ferro-Alloys.com] One big ferrosilicon factory in Zhongwei County of Ningxia stopped quoting. Overall, the ferrosilicon market was still weakly steady. Spot goods were in short supply and the price increased lightly, the trading volume increased as well. But the downstream demand was weak. There were tender notices of steel mills released, which were not very positive. Currently, there is little good news for the price rising. And the weakly steady trend would continue unless the demand getting strong.

Steel: Deformed steel bar rebounded earlier this week, analysts thought it was supported by the less inventories and the production cuts for environmental protection. Magnesium Metal: Continued being weakly steady. The quoted prices were stable in many regions, and the market was getting better.

Silicon Metal: Ran weakly. Some enterprises of high-electrovalence regions wouldn't like to recover production, and the spot goods were not plentiful, the market was in a wait-and-see mood.

Ferrosilicon Futures: Ferrosilicon 2001 contract was upward in the first four trading days. On Friday, the closing price and settlement price decreased but the trading volumes nearly doubled. It's expected to be fluctuating in a short run.
