[ferro-alloys.com]The nickel ore supply was sufficient in this month. LME nickel price was mainly affected  by macroeconomic situation. In early period of this month, the global economic situation was not well. So, LME nickel price dropped down. In middle period of this month, China and U.S reached phase 1 trade agreement. Then, LME nickel price started to rise up. It was more than 14000 USD/T. Although the price went down later because of Christmas holiday, it remained beyond 14000 USD/T. The demand from downstream industry was not sufficient in future nickel market, so traders were not positive. Due to LME nickel price trend, the electrolytic nickel price was not steady in this month.In the morning, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 115000 RMB/T.The barrelled small piece electrolytic nickel was quoted at 116200 RMB/T. The price of Jinchuan nickel was 114200-114500 RMB/T, and Russian nickel was quoted at 110900-111200 RMB/T.
