Australian mining company base said its exports to China, the largest market, have remained stable despite the impact of the coronavirus.
Base said exports remained stable as output of three major minerals, ilmenite, rutile and zircon, is expected to increase this year.
"Nothing has changed," base's Simon wall said in an interview. Our exports are uninterrupted. China accounts for more than 55% of base's exports.
Base's fiscal year guidance plan is to produce 75000 to 81000 tons of rutile, 335000 to 355000 tons of ilmenite and 29000 to 32000 tons of zircon.
Ilmenite and most rutile are sold in bulk, with typical shipping scale of 50000 to 54000 tons of ilmenite and 10000 to 12000 tons of rutile.
