[Ferro-Alloys.com] From January to April, the power generation of Ordos city was 36.07 billion kwh, an increase of 340 million kwh, or 1%. Among them, thermal power generation reached 33.96 billion kwh, an increase of 0.9%, accounting for 94.2% of the total power generation; hydropower generation reached 760 million kwh, a decrease of 3%, accounting for 2.1% of the total power generation; wind power generation reached 260 million kwh, down 8.1%, accounting for 0.7% of the total power generation; photovoltaic power generation was 980 million kwh, up 11.6%, accounting for 2.7% of the total power generation; biomass power generation was 120 million kwh, down 9.7%, accounting for 0.3% of the total power generation.
The power consumption of the whole city was 25.55 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 1.7 billion kwh, an increase of 7.1%. By industry, the power consumption of the first industry was 40 million kwh, an increase of 27.5%, accounting for 0.2% of the total power consumption of the whole society; the power consumption of the second industry was 23.26 billion kwh, an increase of 5.8%, accounting for 91% of the total power consumption (among which, the industrial power consumption was 23.23 billion kwh, an increase of 5.8%, accounting for 90.9% of the total power consumption). The power consumption of the tertiary industry was 1.8 billion kwh, up 26.5%, accounting for 7% of the total social power consumption; the domestic power consumption of urban and rural residents was 450 million kwh, up 10.4%, accounting for 1.8% of the total social power consumption.
