the third is the "development" stage, we will unswervingly promote high-quality development. Under the background of normalization of domestic epidemic prevention and control and severe and complex situation of overseas epidemic situation, in the face of the effectiveness of national policies and measures to hedge the impact of the epidemic situation and the gradual recovery of steel consumption, we should look at the problem from a dialectical and long-term perspective, maintain strategic focus, and continuously promote the high-quality development of the industry.

 

He Wenbo pointed out that at present, we are in the stage of "seeking development", and the stable operation of the iron and steel industry still faces many difficulties and challenges: first, the production capacity is released rapidly, and the production intensity exceeds the market demand; second, the global economic recession, the international environment is more complex, and the unstable and uncertain factors are increasing; third, the iron ore price is still at a high level, which brings great pressure on the industry to improve efficiency; fourth, there are still many problems to be solved in terms of financial support, tax and fee reduction, import and export policies of iron and steel enterprises.
