SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
The Petition
On June 30, 2020, the Department of Commerce (Commerce) received a countervailing duty (CVD) petition concerning imports of silicon metal from the Republic of Kazakhstan (Kazakhstan), filed in proper form on behalf of the petitioners,[1] domestic producers of silicon metal.[2] The Petition was accompanied by antidumping duty (AD) petitions concerning imports of silicon metal from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, and Malaysia.
On July 6 and 7, 2020, Commerce requested supplemental information pertaining to certain aspects of the Petition in separate supplemental questionnaires.[3] The petitioners filed
