[ferro-alloys.com]On last Friday, U.S non-agricultural index was better than people’s expectation. So, LME nickel price dropped down. On last Friday, LME nickel was quoted at 14370 USD/T. It dropped down by 85 USD/T. The domestic market of future nickel was affected by global nickel market, the price went down largely. The trading volume increased. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 2009 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was 150 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 300-400 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 112700 RMB/T. It was 2000 RMB/T lower than the price on last trading day.

Due to upturn of nickel market, the merchant raised up the price of their high-grade ferronickel. In Jiangsu and Shandong Provinces, the high-grade ferronickel price was 1000-1020 RMB/Nickel. In Inner Mongolia and Liaoning Province, the price was 1000-1010 RMB/Nickel. The low-grade ferronickel price remained at 3300-3450 RMB/T.
