[ferro-alloys.com]Due to strike in Indonesia last weekend, the nickel ore price rose up sharply. It stimulated global nickel market. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 15175 USD/T. It rose up by 525 USD/T. The domestic future nickel market was still in upturn in the morning. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 2011 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was 150-250 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 1700-1900 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 117700 RMB/T. It was 500 USD/T higher than the price on last trading day.

Both global nickel market and stainless-steel market were in upturn. The ferronickel price rose up today. In Jiangsu, Shandong Provinces, the high-grade ferronickel price reached 1175 RMB/T at most. In Inner Mongolia and Liaoning Province, the price was 1165-1170 RMB/Nickel. The low-grade ferronickel price remained at 3300-3450 RMB/T.
