By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 15890 USD/T. It dropped down by 55 USD/T. The downstream industry was in downturn. So, the price of future nickel went down in domestic market. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 2012 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was from -50 to 50 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 4000-4200 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 121000 RMB/T. It was 3000 lower than the price on last trading day.

The stainless-steel market went down. The ferronickel price remained the same. In Shandong Provinces, the high-grade ferronickel price was 1100-1110 RMB/T at most. In Inner Mongolia and Liaoning Provinces, the price was 1080-1105 RMB/Nickel. In Jiangsu, the price was 1090-1110 RMB/Nickel. The low-grade ferronickel price remained at 3300-3400 RMB/T.
