A few days ago, Anglo-American Resources Group (Anglo American) released the fourth quarter of 2020 production report showed that the fourth quarter of last year, total iron ore production increased by 10% from a month earlier.
Among which, the iron ore output of Kumba mining area in South Africa is about 9.57 million tons, and that of Sishen mine is about 6.48 million tons, which is stable from month to month, and that of Kolomela mine is about 3.085 million tons, an increase of 2% from month to month.
Brazil’s Minas Rio mining area in the fourth quarter output of about 6.47 million tons, an increase of 29% ,month-on-month, an increase of 5% year-on-year. Anglo-American chief executive Mark said iron ore production had returned to 95% of capacity in 2019 in the second half of the year due to strong Minas-Rio performance.
By 2021, Anglo-American iron ore production target of 64 million-67 million tons ,5%~10% higher than 2020 output; The target output of Kumba mining area is 40 million -41 million tons, and the target output of Minas-Rio mining area is 24 million -26 million tons.
