He pointed that, due to the epidemic, the first quarter is very anxious, after the outbreak of epidemic, the transport of raw materials and products were limited, with the prices and mixed changes, the last year overall steel industry was in a very collapsed state. But in the second, third and the fourth quarter, with the rapid resumption of production, Indonesian products can not be sold well locally, the production were all sold to China, steel imports accounted for a large part last year, which used to be exports, now in turn exports.  

Ding Liguo said that last year the industry has set a new high in output and sales. It still had challenges and pressures, which is not like the Internet, its industrial concentration is low, is a very traditional industry. The concentration is high, such as cement industry, mainly two state-owned enterprises. Private enterprises have been working in the past two years, last year’s most critical Baowu also made efforts, industrial concentration exceeded 40, the next decade may reach 60% or even 70, or even the “14th Five-Year Plan” may reach 60%, if the industry to 60%, the industry will be good.

Speaking of the challenges faced by enterprises, Ding Liguo said that the industry is carbon neutral, carbon peak, China’s steel industry emissions ratio is very high, the environmental protection is the biggest challenge.
