This is the first time that Baosteel high-performance bridge steel has won the bid for the cross Yangtze River public rail dual-purpose bridge, which has achieved a comprehensive catch-up of competitors in the railway super bridge market. Meanwhile, the supply of carbon steel and composite plates in this section is the first time Baosteel has launched an impact on the bridge steel composite plate market.
Bridge steel is an important strategic variety of Baosteel. Baosteel is used for the seventh generation of bridge steel in Wuhan Jianghan in 2020 on the basis of the steel used for the fourth, fifth and sixth generation Long-span Railway Bridges in the first generation. Baosteel has participated in the construction of Zhoushan Liandao project, Shanghai Yangtze River Bridge, Nanjing Yangtze River four bridge, Nanjing Dashenguan Yangtze River railway bridge, Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge, Shanghai Suzhou connect Yangtze River Bridge, Shenzhen and middle channel and other super national economy and livelihood bridges, and has been unanimously praised by the owner and processing unit.
Changtai Yangtze River Bridge has set three world first projects. It is not only the first river crossing channel in the world, which integrates expressway, intercity railway and class I highway, but also the cable-stayed bridge with main channel span of 1176m, which will refresh the world record of the two-purpose cable-stayed bridges for public and railway. The two arch bridges connecting Tianxing Zhou and luoanzhou on both sides will also become the largest span of the double-purpose steel truss arch bridge for public and railway in the world.
The Changtai Yangtze River Bridge project has put forward high requirements for high-performance bridge steel. The technical requirements of the whole bridge adopt the "standard + α" mode. The steel performance needs to meet the technical requirements of structural steel for bridges gb/t 714-2015, and also meet the latest edition of structural steel for railway bridges tb/t. The technical requirements of 3556-2020 are also required for the mechanical properties of tensile strength, yield strength, longitudinal and horizontal performance and yield strength ratio. The technical requirements of the whole bridge are the most in China. The width of steel plate demand in the project is more than 4600mm, which not only limits the rolling mill size of steel plant, but also increases the difficulty of the performance uniformity of steel plate produced in the steel plant. At the same time, the high strength composite plate used in some bridge decks of the project is the first in China.
