China's chromium ore import increase 54.99% in June 2021

[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to data of China Customs, in June 2021, China's import volume of chromium ore was 1224600 tons, a month on month decrease of 216100 tons or 17.85%; the year-on-year increase was 434500 tons, an increase of 54.99%. 

 

Among them, the import volume of chromium ore from South Africa was 1095100 tons, a month on month decrease of 109300 tons, a decrease of 9.07%, and a year-on-year increase of 558300 tons, an increase of 104.01%.

 

From January to June 2021, China's total import of chromium ore was 7.7726 million tons, with a year-on-year increase of 914800 tons or 13.34%. Among them, China imported 6.3592 million tons of chromium ore from South Africa, with a year-on-year increase of 651400 tons or 11.41%.
