Brazil produced 4,867 tons of nickel in February, decreasing by 15.5% from a month and falling by 14.1% year on year, according to data released by the Brazilian Institute of Non-ferrous Metals (ICZ).
Meanwhile, Brazil exported 2,971 tons of nickel in February, falling by 38.2% from a month ago and decreasing by 16.6% year on year.
In the first two months of this year, the country’s nickel output amounted to 10,631 tons, falling by 4.4% year on year.
In the given period of time, Brazil’s nickel exports totaled 7,777 tons, rising by 7.6% year on year.
