To push high-quality development of the industry, China issued tariffs on some ferroalloy products in 2022.
Starting on January 1, 2022, export tariffs on ferrosilicon, ferrochrome, silicomanganese, ferromanganese would be set at 25 percent, 40 percent, 20 percent and 20 percent, respectively, according to a circular issued by the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council.
