According to data of Trade Statistics of Japan, in December 2021, Japan imported 48285.364 tons of ferrosilicon (containing by weight more than 55% of silicon), a month on month increase of 59.57% and a year-on-year increase of 48.70%.
Among them, 16476.11 tons were imported from China, accounting for 34.12%; 14447.9 tons were imported from Russia, accounting for 29.92%.
