US imports of up to 0.5% C low-carbon ferrochrome drop

US imports of up to 0.5% C low-carbon ferrochrome were 2,506.2 mt in February and 6,306.7 mt in the first two months of 2013 vs. 3,933.6 mt and 8,763.2 mt, respectively, in the same 2012 periods. The major importers in February (first two months of 2013 parentheses) were: Russia, 1,359.9 mt (4,375.9 mt) and Germany, 626 mt (851 mt).
