On January 5, ferrosilicon futures closed lower in daytime trading at the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE). The most active ferrosilicon contract for March 2024 delivery closed at 6750 yuan per tonne.

The total trading volume of 2403 contract on the exchange was 140312 lots, with a turnover of about 4729.2125 million yuan.

The number of warehouse receipts was 17211 (86055 tons), and 654 (3270 tons) were valid for the number of warehouse orders.

The top 20 positions increased and decreased variously; The holding of buying positions is less than the holding of selling positions.
