European mills were able to purchase Western FeMo at $26.85 per kg and at $26.70. One mill claimed to have bought below $26.70. Oxide prices in Europe also were under pressure. Suppliers said consumers were rejecting offers at $10.95. Oxide prices slipped by 10¢ per lb to $10.80-10.90 per lb. The US market was quiet but steady. Less than truckload quantities of oxide were still commanding prices over $11 per lb.
