Oman joins hands with Al Tamman Indsil Ferrochrome

 

The Ministry of Energy and Minerals signed on Thursday a mining concession agreement with Al Tamman Indsil FerroChrome, granting exploration and mining rights in concession area No (22-D) in North al Sharqiyah Governorate. Spanning 790 square kilometres, the area features ophiolite rock formations and promising indicators of copper and chromium deposits.

 

The agreement commits the company to a rigorous exploration programme within the first two years.
