[Ferro-Alloys.com]The flurry of moly buying last week seems to have slowed so far this week. However, prices have held as some buyers needing August material remained active. Consumer sales for oxide were reported at $9.30-9.40 per lb in the US and Europe, for both truckload and partial truckload volumes. “The market’s sentiment is down from last week,” said a seller. “The energy has left.” FeMo prices in Europe were higher at $23.40-23.70 per kg compared to $23.20- 23.50 per kg. US prices did not change at $11.20-11.40 per lb. Many sellers are still cautious about predicting a price recovery, believing the recent bounce will be short-lived.
