Ferbasa’s October ferrochrome sales dropped month-on-month after recent gains. Total net sales in October were R$72.52- million, down from R$81.37-million in September, which had been a 12-month high. October sales volumes for high-carbon ferrochrome were 14,870 mt, while low-carbon were 1,786 mt. Volumes for high-carbon ferrochrome were up 37.06% compared to the same 2012 period, and low-carbon volumes were up 1.19%.
