Print[Ferro-alloys.com] Investment fund Victoire Brasil Investimentos (VBI) has increased its ownership of preferred shares in Brazilian ferro-alloys maker Ferbasa from 16.1% to 20%, the producer announced on February 6, 2014.
“The [increase in] shareholding is not intended to alter the composition of the ownership or management structure of the company,” VBI said. Ferbasa’s main investors are Fundação José Carvalho with 26.2% of preferred shares; Fundo Fator Sinergia III e IV FIA (8%) and Norges Bank (7.2%), according to the company’s third-quarter report.
