Market insiders in China expect export rebate rate of cold-rolled sheets, zinc-plated steel and alloy steel to be raised to 13 percent, while that of hot-rolled coils would probably stay at zero, or adjust slightly.
Earlier, China's government stated the adjustment on export rebate rate for part steel products would be released on April 1.
China Iron & Steel Association (CISA) suggests the government raise export rebate rate of hot-rolled coils to 13 percent, bigger than market expectation.
Steel products with low added value such as steel bars, wire rods, pig iron, steel billets and section products, which already enjoy export rebate rates between 10 and 25 percents, will probably not see a change in the rate this time, said analysts.
