Japan's steel exports to Asia showed signs of bottoming out in July as demand from carmakers in the region continue to recover in response to an easing in the shortage of components following the March earthquake, analysts said. Exports of iron and steel products to Asia, Japan's biggest market, dropped just 1.2% year-on-year to 2.618 million tonnes in July, compared to a 13.1% plunge in the previous month, the finance ministry said .
