Print[Ferro-Alloys.com]China Coal Energy Co Ltd, the country's second-largestcoal miner by revenue, has announced that its parent company China National Coal Group Corp has purchased 24.23 million A shares during the period between Sep 22, 2011 and Sep 21, 2012.
After the share purchase, the parent company holds about 7.51 billion A shares of the subsidiary, which accounted for 56.61% of its share capital, more than 56.43% it held earlier.
According to a statement, China National Coal Group bought 5.52 million and 5.77 million A shares of the subsidiary at Sep 22, 2011 and Sep 23, 2011, respectively.
In the first eight months of this year, China Coal Energy saw coal output amount to 73.13 metric tons, 5.5% more than it realized in the corresponding period of last year, China Knowledge reported earlier.
